When we're very attached to a particular result, and things don't turn out as we like, we can suffer deeply. Also, when we try to avoid what we dislike and is unpleasant, we tend to suffer. If we welcome what comes in life, without attachment or aversion, without judgement, often things go better. We're in a more powerful place to be an agent of positive change, healing, and creativity when we approach life with openness, equanimity, and acceptance.
It's not easy to welcome what we don't want, but try creating your day today without any resistance or attachment and see how things go.
