Quentin Blake, one of the most brilliant and prolific illustrators, shares that he starts with the most difficult part of an illustration. If it doesn't come out as he likes, he begins again. This way, he doesn't avoid what might be a problem, nor does he postpone the difficulty, which could waste time necessitating him to redo an illustration that's almost done.
Is there a problem you've been avoiding? How could you begin to face and resolve it today?
