Dance to Create Vibrancy

In many shamanic societies, if you came to a medicine person complaining of being disheartened, dispirited, or depressed, they would ask one of four questions: "When did you stop dancing? When did you stop singing? When did you stop being enchanted by stories? When did you stop being comforted by the sweet territory of silence?" –Gabrielle Roth

When we dance; when we sing; when we allow ourselves to become aware of and enchanted by the stories and wonders around us; when we take time to get still: These are all ways to connect to our deepest, most authentic self, to our heart and our joy. When we take time to enjoy dancing, singing, being enchanted, and getting still, it helps us create healing vibrancy that enlivens us.
