Use Your Voice

Most of us have a voice, and we don't all use it to our creative advantage. We can speak to share our love, our thoughts and points of view. We can encourage one another, we can brainstorm together to plus up our ideas, we can stick up for the under dog, we can create harmony around us and help one another feel safe, seen, and heard. And we can speak words of hate, of bullying, of divisiveness, of disempowerment. Words are important, they create an energy that goes on creating, and that can build others up or destroy them. If someone says words to you that are hurtful, they can't take them back, no matter how they try. If you say words that you regret, it also sets an energy that can drag you down.

When we don't like what's happening around us, we can speak up. And we can follow up by taking small or large actions- setting boundaries, taking a new path, inventing solutions, leaving, voting.

How will you speak up, and what will you create with the energy of your words today?
