Jump for It

One of my favorite things to do is to watch young children or animals play. They tend not to overthink things, they flow from this moment to the next, they explore their world with curiosity, zest, and determination. At times they do things that seem risky, like walking along high stone walls, leaping across the room, racing on bikes, or riding the most daring amusements at a park. Each time they take a chance and succeed, it improves their skills and confidence; and when things don't work out, they often try something else to achieve their goal.

When did you last take a risk? Did you land on your feet, or come up feeling a little defeated? Either way, creativity comes from trying new things, and nothing ventured, nothing gained. Try challenging yourself to take a little risk in what you're creating today.
