Change Up the Color

In music, various instruments can be thought of adding brightness or color. Also, according to a UC Berkeley study, people tend to associate slower, sadder, or minor key sounding music with darker colors like blues and grays; and lighter, faster music in major keys with bright colors like yellows and oranges.

There are many ways to add color in what you're creating, and it can enhance our creativity when we change up the color. Since colors affect moods, surrounding yourself with yellow or orange, for instance, can promote confidence and creativity, while red can make you more alert and encourage analytical thinking. Blue can be calming and help with decision making and creative problem solving.

What colors do you prefer to surround yourself with when you're creating? How can you change up the color of what you're creating today?
